iPhone XR Repairs

The iPhone XR was released in 2018 along side the iPhone Xs and Xs Max and started slow but now seems to be a huge success for Apple. Many didn't believe that the iPhone XR would sell very well because of its $749 price tag for what was consider to be the "budget model" and it seemed they would be right. According to ZDNet, the iPhone XR feel to number 9 of the best selling smartphones of 2018. But the iPhone Xr has since jumped up to becoming the best selling smartphone in Q1 of 2019. The iPhone rocks a glass body like the one found back on the iPhone 4 and 4s instead of an aluminum body as it did in the previous few years.

 

With the iPhone XR, Apple decided to what they did with the successful iPhone X by removing the home button. The home button was replaced by a simple bar on the screen and gestured that controlled the iPhone. With the iPhone XR being made of glass now it makes it that much more fragile and susceptible to breakage when dropped so consumers are urged to extra careful when handling their devices.  Apple also decided not to include the dual camera set up on the iPhone XR but still allowed it to shoot in portrait mode using software much like the Google Pixel. The price along with the iPhone XR's form factor is what is possibly making it the go to choice for many consumers. Some models of iPhone Xr are still covered under the one year manufacturer warranty.
